Blog Entry: This is a sincere appeal from a Hockey admirer...My Dear Fellow Hockey Heros,You guys have done great in winning the Asia Cup. You folks are surviving against all odds.You are playing for a nation of 1 Billion brain-washed minds, who know only one thing as a sport - Cricket.Nothing else is a sport. Nothing else is a game. Nothing else is worth spending their valuable (???) time and money.The governments - All it needs is cheap publicity.The Media - It would be more apt to call the Madia... The Publeek - Maddened by the Madia...AndYou are not alone here folks..There are Anju Georges..., there are Viswanathan Anands, there are Anup Sridhars... Who doesn't get any recognition from the so called "People's government" whatsoever...However, it doesn't give you any respect to protest or demand respect or recognition from these clowns. Please remember always that if they don't recognize you...........................You don't have to go to them, 'begging' for recognition.It was atrocious to see some of the Indeeyan Citeezans who sent SMSs to Times-NOW, suggesting (!) to Dhoni to give "HALF OF THEIR EARNINGS TO INDIAN HOCKEY TEAM". What a Goddamn third-rated thinking...Dear Hockey Players...You guys are not in Show Business. You guys are not Cine-stars...You guys are not propagated "Demi-God Billionaires" of a country, where still there are more than 60% with one meal a day...!!!Dear Fellows,Please maintain the sportsmenship you have exhibited so far... Don't Go Begging... What if these Indeeyans don't recognize you, don't falicitate you...You Play from your heart... Thats the glory of the game...Please don't let down that high esteem of self-respect the sport bestows on you...This is a sincere request from a Hockey Admirer of this very same Country...
