Title: Filmy Chakkar

Blog Entry: FILMY CHAKKAR These days we find most of the film stars not their usual self and at their usual place. The reasons seem plenty. The house or the dwelling is the most uncomfortable place to live, for the fans these days knock on their doors much too often than it used to be. Their fan following in the recent years spurt up like the prices of potatoes and onions and irrespective of their career graph sliding into oblivion, they still are much sought after. The recent addition to their ever-ending fans list is the Police. It is with great fervor that fans chase their film stars and even the police do the same but for a different reason. They chase the film stars not for autographs or photographs, but to arrest their crime graphs. In the process the heartthrob of countless hard-core fans, leave the hearts of many miss a beat. It is implausible a fact that why the reel life heroes, turn real life villains. What makes them acquire an AK47 or just go round the bush hunting a duck and a buck or a spotted deer or a crow just sitting on the fence? This act brings them into more disrepute than all the good work they heaped up during their struggled career. The law takes its own course of time to shut them up behind bars, but that may be a wrong time for them. They stand and scream foul, for they are pushed into the jail at a time when their career graph is sky rocketing. The worst victim is the producer. He will have to wait for the film star to serve his sentence. It may be six month or a six-year term. Not all producers are smart enough. However, this is not a matter of concern for those producers who can change the script at the drop of a hat or a spat with them. Ekta Kapoor for instance. She will not bow down to a situation like this. She will change the script by inducting an accident scene and get a plastic surgeon do the trick for her. The next scene comes fresh with a fresh face donning the same character, hitherto done by another star. Imagine something like this, Sanjay Dutt transformed into a Salman Khan or an Ajay Devgan. There are others producers too, who are smart enough to continue the shoot at the Errawada or Tihar, without meddling with the script. It can also generate income for the jails, which be spent for enhancing the conditions at jail that can encourage other criminals to finish their term in jail, instead of loitering with the idea and spending large amounts for acquiring their bails. Then their fans too will be pleased to see and meet them. If the Jail authorities impose an entry fee and allow the fans to meet their favorite star, this will fill the coffer. The other important aspect of generating more money is when allotting the work to the inmates. If the Government can utilize the services of these film stars locked up with them and produce a film or two, it will be a smash hit and fill the exchequer. Here are few titles already registered for them. ‘Hum Jail Jaa Chuke Sanam’ ‘Jail Hain Na’ Lagey Raho Jail Me’ ‘Main ne Jail Kyo Gaya’ ‘Koyi Jail Gaya’, Jail ya Bail’.
