It started with John Abraham who cut his hair really short for Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal. And now he wants to maintain that look for the New Year.Bipasha followed suit. To look compatible with Ranbir Kapoor who career-wise is many years junior to her, Bipasha got herself a new hairstyle and colour to go with it. “It’s important to look after yourself, to create a renewed interest in your work and characters by constantly re-inventing yourself,” says Bipasha.Ranbir Kapoor too, has gone for a completely new hairstyle, look and wardrobe for his role in Siddharth Anand’s film. Ranbir intends to change his look for every character. Sonam Kapoor is following his footsteps too, getting herself a new hairstyle. “I play a far more contemporary girl than I did in Saawariya,” says Sonam. Akshay Kumar wears a turban throughout for his part in Singh Is Kinng. In Drona, Abhishek Bachchan has done away with his stubble, while he dons a new look and wardrobe for Dilli 6. The coolest dude, though, is the senior Bachchan, who at 65, slips into a new physical avatar in all his forthcoming films. “At my age it doesn’t really matter how I look. I’m open to being innovative,” says Big B.
